研究室簡介
肥胖是一種慢性疾病,除了會衍生多種威脅生命如胰島素阻抗症候群和心血管疾病的發生外,根據研究指出,肥胖也與阻塞型睡眠呼吸中止症候群、慢性阻塞性肺病以及氣喘有關,但是相關調控機制還未被了解。另一方面,研究也發現發炎反應會伴隨包括氣喘和阻塞型睡眠呼吸中止症候群等多種急慢性肺部疾病的產生,此時發炎性基因如黏著分子會啟動表現,進而調控放大發炎反應的發生。本實驗室以脂肪細胞合成釋放的瘦素(leptin)與脂聯素(adiponectin)作用於肺部細胞,探討瘦素和脂聯素刺激細胞後所引發的發炎基因表現以及其相關的分子機轉。另一方面,我們也利用肺部細胞所釋放的發炎介質作用於脂肪組織,以期了解肺部系統與脂肪組織之間的相互影響作用。
